		<description>I think Steve Bundred in charge of the Office for Budget Responsibility would be marvellous satire, given he was in charge of the Audit Commission when it deposited 4% of its own budget into two Icelandic banks just before they went belly-up.</description>

		<description>I wonder whether it&#039;s really appropriate for the head of the Audit Commission to be writing a political opinion column urging various spending cuts. Is he making an early bid to run the Cameron/Osborne Office for Budget Responsibility (aka the Office for Justifying Cuts)?</description>

Doctors, nurses, teachers, soldiers, police officers with less money to spend = shops closing and factories shutting down = more people on the dole!
